1930s Classic Villa

A welcoming redesign of a 1930s villa, created around an owner who is truly the perfect host. With a spacious, beautifully crafted kitchen and an open flow into the living areas, the home is now a place made for gathering, cooking and sharing precious moments together.

This 1930s villa transformation was created with the owner at heart the true star of the kitchen and a passionate host. She deserved a generous, welcoming space where family and friends could gather comfortably. The original layout offered little room to cook or entertain, so the kitchen was reimagined into a spacious central hub, complete with a large island and a beautiful bay window overlooking the garden and its magnificent magnolia tree in full bloom. It has become the place where the family naturally comes together every day.

The living room needed warmth, depth and character. By enveloping the space in a stunning natural wallcovering, the room gained an intimate, tactile quality that complements the villa’s original charm. The existing gas fireplace once outdated was carefully redesigned into a refined To The Nines signature piece crafted in travertine with brass details, merging elegance, craftsmanship and functionality.

Throughout the home, each decision reflects both the heritage of the villa and the personality of its owner. The result is a timeless, welcoming and beautifully balanced family home where classic architecture meets modern comfort and understated luxury.
